“Hangout Day 2023”

An office picnic is for fun and adventure. It’s a good time to build bonds and improve understanding with each other.

Picnics at IG Square are an expression of our hard work ethic and the pleasure we share in each other’s company. When we come together, we create magic not only in the workplace, but also in our shared experiences beyond the walls of the office. We believe that fostering a sense of togetherness not only enhances our productivity but also nurtures a positive work culture. At IG Square, we understand the importance of striking a balance between work and play.

Employee engagement activities are valuable opportunities for fostering connections and breaking the ice in a formal work setting. During these informal gatherings or hangouts, both employees and management came together to participate in games and engage in discussions that extend beyond the realm of work-related topics.

Bonding plays an important role later in the office, like:

Employees get a chance to meet other department employees.
Employee engagement activities help new employees gel with others.
These activities help employees open up with their seniors and discuss their goals, ambitions, and hurdles to achieving them. Seniors get the chance to nurture their juniors while making them comfortable.

On September 29, 2023, IG Square Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. arranged a Hang Out Day at The Oasis Golf & Aqua Resort (for Lahore team) and at Seadale Resort, Turtle Beach (for Karachi team). It was a fulfilling day with indoor and outdoor games, live breakfast, appetizing lunch, hi-tea and obviously lots of chit-chat about life other than work.

We had a blast at our office picnic last week! An amazing hangout having the combination of refreshing wind and beautiful surroundings were truly rejuvenating and delightful for the mind, body, and spirit.

It was great to see everyone enjoying some fun activities together. We played games, ate delicious food, and enjoyed different team-building activities.

Nature allowed us to immerse in the natural beauty of the area, while speed boat, board games and music added fun and entertainment to the day. However, it was sea that brought even more joy and energy to the event, and was fantastic to see that all these helped in further strengthening the bonds between co-workers and friends.

The organizing team deserves special mention and thanks for putting together such an awesome picnic experience and making it a memorable one! Their relentless efforts and meticulous planning made sure everything ran smoothly till everyone reached home safely.

Indeed, it was a great hangout, and everyone was saying we can’t wait for the next one.
